Life Boat Testing
Water Weights has developed testing system specially designed for life boats, small bridges, gangways free fall boats etc. The system consists of multiple small waterbags.
Standard sizes of these bags are 375kg and 100kg each. A complete kit, consisting of 20 small (100kg) or 16 big (375kg) bags will be supplied including all necessary hoses, a manifold and an air pump for emptying the bags. This system has proven to be a very easy and safe method of proof load testing. The engineers just need to carry lightweight waterbags and place them in the correct position.
A manifold and multiple hoses are used to control the filling and emptying of the bags. This method is very safe as there is never any need to enter a lifeboat in the 'dangerous' overload situation.
